Access offers a quick and easy way to update Access
with any new software downloads that improve the stability and security
of the program. From the Help menu, simply select the Check For Updates
command to connect to the Microsoft Office Online Web site, where you
can have your computer scanned for necessary updates, and then choose
which Office updates you want to download and install. To help you stay
as current and efficient as possible, Microsoft extends its Access help
by giving you direct access to other areas on the Microsoft Office
Online Web site. Using the Office online links on the Access Help task
pane, you can check out Access-related news, obtain the most up-to-date
help from Microsoft, and locate training and assistance with any aspect
of Access.
Get Access Updates on the Web
- Click the Help menu, and then click Check For Updates.The Microsoft Office Online Web site opens, displaying the Downloads page.
- Click Check For Updates to find out if you need Access updates, and then choose the updates you want to download and install.
- When you're done, click the Close button.
Get the Latest Information on Access
- Click the Help button on the toolbar.
- Click one of the Office online links for information on an Access feature.
- Click Assistance to go to the Assistance Home Web page for information on ways to maximize the features you want to use in Access for greater efficiency.
- Click Training to go to the Training Home Web page to learn how to use the tools in Access more effectively.
